Alumni Networks

More than 27,000 alumni from 156 countries around the world have participated in Salzburg Global Seminar programs since 1947. This Network of Seminar Alumni provides Salzburg Fellows, Faculty and partners with a rich resource of networking capabilities. Network activities facilitate the continued intellectual interest and commitment of the Seminar’s alumni around the globe in the work begun in Salzburg. Salzburg Networks programs keep alumni and the public informed about activities in Salzburg and promote active virtual communities of former Fellows, faculty, and others with shared interests and encourage their contributions of ideas, energy, and support to the Seminar’s ongoing work.

Salzburg Network programs available to Alumni, friends, and guests include the annual Salzburg Global Seminar Summer Festival and the Salzburg Global Seminar Winter Festivals. These festivals offer Salzburg Global Seminar Alumni, friends and guests the opportunity to return to Salzburg and participate in one-week programs designed around a theme of topical interest and seasonal excursions.

Alumni leaders in 70 countries around the world assist the Salzburg Global Seminar in building the world-wide Network. Regional programs are organized by leaders, and leaders assist the Salzburg Global Seminar by recommending future Fellows for participation in programs. Click here for a list of alumni leaders.

In addition to the regional association, there are four Salzburg Seminar professional associations that offer regular symposia and meetings:
