Techniques:
March 13-22, 1996 This session is an intensive computer-based workshop to develop user skills with Internet, Email, on-line searching, discussion groups and networking and to develop techniques for adapting electronic materials to classroom use. It is intended for beginners and intermediate users of the Internet. Participants will be grouped according to user skill levels --beginners with limited use of computer-assisted communication, and intermediate level users familiar with the Internet and interested in developing advanced skills with World Wide Web, listserv, on-line Books, Newsgroups, etc. All participants are expected to arrive with at least elementary keyboard skills. A special dimension will feature demonstration and use of the Center's newly installed multi-media, interactive language lab. See the workshop resource page for related information.
